The Project

Blairgowrie residents in Zone 2 overwhelmingly voted in favour of applying for fenced off road closures and boom gates. More than two-thirds of residents approved the proposal in early 2024.

We are currently engaging the City of Johannesburg in this regard and acquiring all the necessary reports to be compliant.

The Nola Park Community Road Closure project has established a Non-Profit Organisation to be the legal entity overseeing the project which is being guided by a resident and attorney specialising in road closures. You can sign up to become a voting member of the Nola Park Community NPC by completing the membership form below.

To support the project residents have been asked to contribute R300 a month towards financing the costs involved. If you are not yet contributing, please click below for the banking details.

We have submitted our application to the City of Joburg and are waiting for their interim decision.
